The National HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Council (NAC) established through an Act of Parliament No. 10 of 2002 is charged with the responsibility of developing and coordinating policies, plans and strategies for the prevention and combating of HIV, AIDS, TB and STIs in order to reduce the impact of the epidemic.
The four (4) positions of Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator – Condom Programming, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, Administration Officer and Public and Private Sector Coordinator at NAC have fallen vacant, and consequently, suitably qualified and experienced Zambians are invited to apply for the positions which are based in Lusaka.
ADVERTISEMENT FOR NATIONAL CONSULTANT: SIZE ESTIMATE STUDY
The National HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Council (NAC) established through an Act of Parliament No. 10 of 2002 NAC is coordinating
a Size Estimates Study in 5 Districts of Zambia, namely Kasama, Kabwe, Chililabombwe, Choma and Chinsali. Currently,
the country has a paucity of data on size estimates to inform HIV policy, planning and programming, thus, further
undermining the HIV response. This Study will therefore provide information for planning and interventions in Zambia.
To enhance its mandate, applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for the study
NATIONAL CONSULTANT FOR THE SIZE ESTIMATE STUDY
Job Purpose
Working under the leadership and guidance of the NAC Director Policy and Planning, and the National Size Estimates
Technical and Steering Committees, the Consultant will, in a systematic and comprehensive manner, provide leadership
in estimating the sizes of various population groups in the 5 Districts in Zambia.
